Savona Vado is a growing port that looks ahead, through development projects that involve an increasingly wider area. However, the customs barrier often makes the port a mysterious and distant place even for those who live within walking distance.

For this reason the Port Authority is engaged in several communications initiatives, to bring the port world closer to the citizens, and particularly the new generations, aiming to convey the complexity, the importance and the growth opportunities of the port activities.

Every year more and more students, from primary school to university, take guided tours along the docks in order to directly observe the special and charming universe of the port.

Furthermore, an increasing number of citizens take the opportunity to discover the port world on the occasion of the Port Day (celebrated in coincidence with the European Maritime Day), when the port opens to the community.
