The basins of Savona and Vado Ligure offer a total operating surface covering over 1 million m2 with a total quay length of about 5 km.

During the last ten years the port of Savona Vado has enhanced its activities, increasing the traffic volumes.

In 2010 the port received more than 2000 ships, handling a total of 14.2 million tons of cargo and about 200,000 TEUs. Passenger traffic was over 1 millions units, with 780,000 cruise pax.

Savona Vado is the leading port in the Mediterranean Sea as for fruit trade and it ranks among the first 5 Italian cruise ports and among the first 10 Italian container ports.
